And now for something completely different...
The BBC (British Beer Company) has established several foothold locations across Massachusetts, and secured a two-prong incursion into New Hampshire - but this isn't a military invasion, nor is it a threat of any kind to New England or the nation.
This is a welcomed, rich (in taste & experience) and satisfying addition to our shores.
Behold - the Bourbon Turkey Bacon Burger!
8 oz., fresh-ground turkey patty grilled & topped w/bourbon sauce,
caramelized onion, crisp bacon & sliced avocado on a grilled brioche roll.
Accompanied with Panko-encrusted green beans.
Yum! And the accompanying beer,
Shepherd Neame Spitfire, was also quite tasty. I strongly recommend the panko-encrusted green beans in lieu of fries ("
chips" in Queen's English, I hear).
The place has free WiFi, too - which I unexpectedly needed, so was very thankful for it.
Each incarnation has its own specific personality built into and on top of the default, so there's a character to it which fits within the context of the locations. (In other words, you should try them all. We're going to.)
There is nothing over the fold.
...and now, we return you to your regularly scheduled programming on the GOS. This has been a BosKos Foodie Alert exercise. No unicorns were harmed in the making of this post.
See?
